SUPPORT AUCKLAND'S NEW CURLING RINK

Exciting News! Auckland Curling moves to our REAL Curling Rink early 2026, after 29 years on a skating rink! This coincides with 16 days of live Winter Olympic curling coverage on NZ screens in February, a timely lift for NZ curling awareness.

Here’s your opportunity to support Auckland Curling and to get your name etched into Auckland and New Zealand Curling history forever!

This $NZD 2 million project, renovating the warehouse at 10 Burrett Ave, Penrose, Auckland, was kick-started by a very generous philanthropic donation, plus significant funding from Auckland Council, World Curling, and Gaming Trusts, along with substantial club member donations.

We’re now reaching out to you, the greater global and NZ curling community, with special opportunities to leave your mark on Auckland and NZ Curling.

There are five unique opportunities for you to support Auckland Curling’s fundraising efforts. Club members have already supported these opportunities, and here is your chance to get involved.

All figures are in NZ dollars, so check your local exchange rate to see what a good deal it is for you.

1. Get your Name on a NEW Curling Stone

64 NEW curling stones can have your name, or your family’s name, engraved on the plastic handle. $1000 for 1 stone, or $1500 for your pair of stones. Choose RED or YELLOW - first in, first served

2. Get your name on a permanent 'Wall of Honour' plaque in the new Curling Rink.

There are flexible donation options to suit your budget

  • $500 - $999 : Bronze donor plaque
  • $1000 - $4999 : Silver donor plaque
  • $5000 - $9999 : Gold donor plaque
  • $10,000 and up : Platinum donor plaque

3. Get your name on a Café/Bar Chair in the new Curling Rink

  • $500 gets your name engraved on the back of a chair for all to see and appreciate.

4. Lifetime Auckland CC Curling Pass

  • For non-NZ and non-Australian residents only, conditions apply
  • $500 Individual pass. $1000 Family pass. Free Auckland curling when on your NZ holiday.
